About this seminar

This seminar presents seven principles of good partnerships collected from fourteen leading public health experts from Africa, the majority of whom were senior staff from schools of public health with direct experience with substantive partnerships related to public health, education and research.

About Christine Morfit

Christine A. MorfitChristine A. Morfit is the executive director of Higher Education for Development (HED). She joined HED as deputy executive director in 2003. Prior to this appointment she was deputy executive director of the Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES), where she was responsible for U.S. and visiting scholar programs for the worldwide Fulbright Senior Scholar Program.

Ms. Morfit holds a master's degree in International Public Policy (MIPP) from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), the Johns Hopkins University; an M.A. from the University of Birmingham; a Post-graduate Certificate in Education from the University of London; and a B.A. in Chinese Studies from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom.
